This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines acceptable uses of Castcraft's services. By using our platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Permitted Use
You may use Castcraft to create, record, edit, host, and distribute original podcast content, access AI-powered tools for content creation, and interact with the Castcraft community in accordance with our Community Guidelines.
Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use Castcraft to:
- Create or distribute content that violates any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdiction of your listeners
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, or patent infringement
- Host or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, or any content that sexualizes or endangers minors — this is a criminal offense and will be reported to law enforcement
- Distribute defamatory, libelous, or slanderous content about any person or organization
- Promote or facilitate illegal activities, including drug trafficking, weapons sales, or fraud
- Send spam, distribute malware, or engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Castcraft platform or its users
- Scrape, collect, or harvest personal data from other users or third parties without their consent
- Bypass any security measures, rate limits, or access controls on the platform
- Use automated systems or bots to interact with the platform without our written consent
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Castcraft platform or its underlying technology
AI Use Guidelines
When using Castcraft's AI features (script generation, clip creation, transcription, etc.):
- You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before publishing
- AI-generated content must not be used to deceive listeners or misrepresent facts
- Do not use AI features to generate content that violates our content policies
API and Integrations
If you use Castcraft's API or third-party integrations, you must comply with any additional terms governing those integrations. API usage must not exceed reasonable rate limits or negatively impact platform performance for other users.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please contact us immediately. We will investigate reports and take appropriate action. If you have received a notice of violation, you may respond with a written explanation and we will consider it.
Enforcement
Violations may result in: written warnings; removal of violating content; temporary suspension of your account; or permanent account termination. We reserve the right to take these actions at our discretion and without prior notice in serious cases.
